This new feature will allow users to self-host their private shard, manage Kubernetes clusters, and actively participate across various chains and workspaces. This update aligns perfectly with our mission to integrate Web3 into private chains while granting you complete control over your data . 

Motivation: Why Cloud Connect?

Up until now, user-created shards/chains were hosted and owned exclusively by us, not too dissimilar to the classic SaaS platforms out there. However, our vision for a fully integrated web3 experience in private chains called for a more decentralized approach.

The goal? To empower our customers with their own independent infrastructure, enabling participation across multiple chains and workspaces.

Recognizing the intricacies of facilitating on-premise and zero cloud dependencies, we've crafted a solution that intertwines the might of AWS and GCP with the agility of Cloud Connect. Now, our users can create participation Kubernetes (k8s) clusters connected seamlessly to relevant stakeholders, all while retaining full control over their data.

Our solution is anchored around the robust Crossplane framework for Kubernetes.
